MicroSpine Google Sync is an internal operational tool used by MicroSpine Center to connect selected Google services and automate clinic workflows.
The application is not offered as a public consumer service. It is used by authorized MicroSpine personnel for internal administrative and clinical operations.
Google Data Access
MicroSpine Google Sync may request access to the following Google services as required for its internal functions:
Google Sheets
Google Calendar
Google Contacts
Google Drive
Google Apps Script services
Email services used for system notifications and operational alerts
How Google User Data Is Used
Google user data is accessed only to perform internal MicroSpine operational functions, including:
reading and updating clinic records stored in Google Sheets;
creating, reading, and updating Google Calendar events used in clinic workflows;
creating or updating Google Contacts when authorized by clinic workflow;
creating and managing internal backup and recovery copies of clinic spreadsheets in Google Drive;
sending internal system notifications and error alerts;
operating and monitoring automated Google Apps Script workflows.
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Data Storage
Operational data processed by the application remains within Google services used by MicroSpine, including Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, and Google Drive.
The application does not intentionally transfer Google user data to external third-party servers for storage or processing.
The application may make authenticated requests to Google services, including exporting Google Sheets content as PDF for internal reporting. These requests remain within Google services and are not sent to third-party servers.
Data Sharing
MicroSpine Google Sync does not sell Google user data.
Google user data is not shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial purposes.
Access is limited to authorized MicroSpine personnel and Google services required to operate the internal workflow.
Data Retention
Data is retained only as required for MicroSpine’s operational, clinical, administrative, backup, and record-keeping requirements.
Backup copies may be retained according to the internal backup and retention settings configured within the system.
Security
MicroSpine uses access controls, Google account permissions, and Google platform security features to restrict access to authorized personnel.
Access permissions are limited to the Google services required for the operation of the application.
Google API Services User Data Policy
MicroSpine Google Sync’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the applicable Limited Use requirements.
User Control
Authorized Google account users can review or revoke access granted to MicroSpine Google Sync through their Google Account security settings.
Revoking access may stop some or all automated MicroSpine workflows from functioning.
